As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the attention to detail in creating a cozy and comfortable environment. The large rooms were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for me to move around without any difficulty. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal for us older travelers. It was peaceful and quiet, allowing for a restful stay, and yet still close enough to the main attractions in Nikko. It was a joy to explore the area on foot and discover charming restaurants and a nearby convenience store. the accessibility and ambiance of the guest house made for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

If I had to ask for one improvement for senior travelers, it would be to have more assistance available from the staff. While the children working there were polite, a little more attentive care towards the specific needs of older guests would have been appreciated.

It had everything we needed for a fun vacation with friends. The place was super cool, with air-conditioned accommodations and a DVD player for our entertainment. We had a blast watching movies together and chilling out in our own private space. Plus, the location was perfect for us to explore all the cool party spots in Nikko!

If I had to ask for one thing to make our stay even better, it would be an outdoor BBQ area. It would have been so much fun to have a party under the stars, grilling up some delicious food with our friends.

The room at Guest House Koundo was absolutely amazing! The separate bathtub and shower were a dream come true for a relaxing soak after a long day of sightseeing. The deep soaking tub and complimentary toiletries added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. Plus, having an extra bedroom for larger groups made our stay even more comfortable.

Personally, I found the shared bathroom in all rooms a bit inconvenient. But hey, that's just my personal preference!
